MOSCOW, Idaho — In a competitive matchup on Thursday night, Isaiah Johnson put on a stellar performance with 22 points, leading Portland State to a 76-69 victory over Idaho.
Alongside his scoring, Johnson also recorded seven rebounds and three steals for the Vikings, who now hold a record of 14-9 and stand at 6-4 in the Big Sky Conference.
Terri Miller Jr. contributed significantly to the team’s success by scoring 14 points, showcasing his skills with a shooting efficiency of 5 for 9 from the field and making 4 of 8 from the charity stripe, while also pulling down six rebounds.
Cole Farrell added 13 points to the team’s totals, shooting 4 for 8 overall, including sinking 2 of 4 attempts beyond the arc, and converting 3 of 6 from the free-throw line.
For the Vandals, Titus Yearout was the top scorer, netting 14 points in the contest. Kolton Mitchell followed closely with 12 points and provided four assists, while Kristian Gonzalez also chipped in with 12 points.
As both teams look to build on this performance, they will head into their next games this Saturday. Portland State is set to take on Eastern Washington, while Idaho will host Sacramento State.
