NEW BRITAIN, Conn. — In an impressive performance, Devin Haid scored 25 points, leading Central Connecticut State to a commanding 87-66 win over Fairleigh Dickinson on Thursday night.

Haid not only showcased his scoring ability but also contributed significantly on the boards, grabbing eight rebounds for the Blue Devils, who now hold a record of 17 wins and 6 losses, with 8 victories and 2 defeats in the Northeast Conference.

Jordan Jones played a crucial role as well, adding 14 points with an efficient shooting display, hitting 4 of 8 attempts from the floor, which included 1 out of 4 from downtown. He also made all five of his free-throw attempts and contributed three steals. Abdul Momoh rounded out the strong performance by finishing the game with 11 points, making 3 of 6 shots from the field and going 5 for 7 from the free-throw line, while also pulling down 11 rebounds. This victory marks the Blue Devils’ sixth consecutive win.

On the other side, Terrence Brown emerged as the standout player for the Knights, scoring 29 points and securing three steals. Fairleigh Dickinson also saw contributions from Dylan Jones and Jameel Morris, both scoring 11 points each.
