HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. — In an exciting matchup on Thursday night, Rashad King’s impressive performance, scoring 28 points, led the Northeastern Huskies to a 77-68 victory over Hofstra.

Along with his standout scoring, King contributed five rebounds, showcasing his overall impact on the game for the Huskies, who now have a record of 13 wins and 11 losses, with a 5-6 mark in the Coastal Athletic Association.

LA Pratt also made significant contributions to the team’s success, scoring 14 points along with six rebounds and five assists. William Kermoury supported the offense as well, adding 13 points while hitting three of his seven attempts from beyond the arc and maintaining a perfect free-throw record with four successful shots.

For Hofstra, Jean Aranguren had a remarkable game, achieving a double-double with 35 points and 10 rebounds along with two steals. Cruz Davis also had a strong outing, contributing 18 points and recording seven assists. Michael Graham rounded out the scoring for Hofstra with six points and ten rebounds. The Pride now stands with a record of 12-12, including four wins and seven losses in conference play.

Looking ahead, both teams are set to play again this Saturday, with Northeastern taking on Hampton at home, while Hofstra will face Stony Brook in their own matchup.
