In a recent matchup, the Queens Royals triumphed over the Central Arkansas Bears with a score of 63-47 on Wednesday night in Conway, Arkansas.
Chris Ashby emerged as the standout player, leading the Royals with an impressive 27 points and contributing three steals to the team’s efforts.
The Royals, now holding a record of 15-9 and 8-3 within the Atlantic Sun Conference, also saw Leo Colimerio add 12 points to the score, alongside eight rebounds and five assists. Colimerio had a shooting line of 3 for 10 overall, with two of those baskets coming from beyond the arc, and he also converted four of six free-throw attempts.
On the other side, Nehemiah Turner was the top performer for the Bears, contributing 12 points and pulling down seven rebounds.
Brayden Fagbemi also chipped in with 12 points for Central Arkansas, while Michael Evbagharu notched seven points in addition to gathering 10 rebounds, which helped his team despite their loss.
Looking ahead, both teams are set to play again on Saturday. The Royals will welcome Lipscomb to their home court, while Central Arkansas will take to the road to face Austin Peay.
