CINCINNATI — In an exciting matchup on Tuesday night, Xavier triumphed over Georgetown with a final score of 74-69, thanks to an impressive performance by Dailyn Swain, who recorded 18 points in the game.

Swain also contributed six rebounds for the Musketeers, who now hold a record of 14 wins and 9 losses, with a conference tally of 6 wins and 6 losses in the Big East. Alongside him, Marcus Foster had a significant impact, scoring 17 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. Zach Freemantle added to the team’s success, finishing the game with 17 points on 7 of 12 shooting, including one 3-pointer out of four attempts.

On the other side, Micah Peavy delivered a stellar performance for the Hoyas, leading the score with 27 points, while also dishing out four assists and making two steals.
