BETHLEHEM, Pa.
— Lehigh University secured a decisive 94-68 victory over Colgate on Monday night, largely thanks to Cam Gillus, who led the team with 19 points.
Gillus was also instrumental on the boards, recording six rebounds for the Mountain Hawks (9-13, 4-7 in the Patriot League). Nasir Whitlock made significant contributions as well, scoring 17 points with an impressive shooting performance of 7 of 12, which included one successful three-pointer, while adding five rebounds to his tally. Joshua Ingram chipped in with 14 points, having gone 4 for 7 from the field, including two from beyond the arc, and flawlessly converting all four of his free-throw attempts.

The Raiders (9-15, 6-5) saw strong performances from Jalen Cox and Jeff Woodward, both of whom finished the game with 14 points. Parker Jones also made his mark by scoring 12 points.

Lehigh took control of the game just before halftime, claiming the lead with 59 seconds remaining in the first half. Gillus was pivotal during the first half, leading the team with 11 points, which contributed to a narrow 42-37 advantage at the break.
In the second half, the Mountain Hawks extended their lead significantly, reaching a score of 64-49, primarily sparked by an impressive 11-0 scoring run. Whitlock emerged as a standout in the second half, leading the team with nine points in that period.

Looking ahead, both teams are scheduled to compete again on Saturday, with Lehigh hosting American and Colgate facing off against Loyola (Md.) at home.
