Shoats nets 22 points as Siena defeats Quinnipiac 84-75

ALBANY, N.Y. — Justice Shoats delivered an impressive performance, scoring 22 points as Siena defeated Quinnipiac 84-75 on Sunday.
Shoats also made significant contributions with six assists, helping the Saints improve their season record to 10-12 overall and 5-6 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
Gavin Doty asserted himself on the court as well, finishing with 19 points on 8 of 16 shooting, while also grabbing six rebounds and making four steals.
Both Brendan Coyle and Reid Ducharme chipped in with 13 points each, further bolstering the team’s scoring efforts.

On the other side, Amarri Monroe was the standout for the Bobcats, netting 28 points along with nine rebounds and three steals, although Quinnipiac could not capitalize on his performance.
Khaden Bennett also contributed with 11 points and three steals, while Doug Young added to the scoreboard with 10 points.
With this loss, Quinnipiac’s six-game winning streak came to an end, leaving them with a record of 13-9 and 9-2 in their conference play.
