Tulsa, Oklahoma – In a thrilling match on Saturday evening, Oral Roberts emerged victorious over Kansas City with a score of 73-67. Issac McBride led the charge for the Golden Eagles, contributing 16 points to the team’s effort.
McBride had a shooting line of 3 for 9, including just 1 for 5 from beyond the arc, but excelled at the free-throw line, making 9 of 10 attempts. His performance was bolstered by Jalen Miller, who recorded 14 points after hitting 4 of 8 shots from the field, which included a commendable 3 for 5 from three-point territory, along with converting 3 of 4 free throws. Sam Alajiki also made significant contributions with 11 points, going 3 for 8 overall, with all of his successful shots coming from three-point range, and hitting 2 of 3 free throws. With this win, the Golden Eagles put an end to a challenging five-game losing streak.
On the opposing side, Jamar Brown shone for the Kangaroos, collecting 17 points, alongside nine rebounds and four steals. His strong performance wasn’t enough to change the course of the game, as Kansas City’s Gob Gob also added 16 points, and Cameron Faas chipped in with 12 points.
