In a competitive match held on Saturday, Cent. Conn. State emerged victorious against Stonehill with a score of 71-63, thanks in large part to Jordan Jones, who scored 20 points for the Blue Devils.
Along with his scoring, Jones contributed six rebounds and made three steals, showcasing his all-around skills. The Blue Devils improved their record to 16-6 overall and 7-2 in the Northeast Conference.
Devin Haid also made a significant impact, scoring 17 points and securing five steals, while Abdul Momoh displayed efficient shooting, going 7 for 8 from the field to finish with 14 points.
On the other side of the court, Stonehill’s effort was led by Louie Semona, who matched Jones’s scoring output with 20 points.
Todd Brogna played a key role as well, contributing 14 points along with nine rebounds and four assists. Ethan Meuser added to the scoreboard with 11 points, but it wasn’t enough to secure a win for the Skyhawks, who now hold a 12-12 record and are 4-5 in conference play.
Looking ahead, Cent. Conn. State will play at home against Fairleigh Dickinson on Thursday, while Stonehill is set to travel to LIU for their game on Saturday.
