Kino Lilly Jr. delivered a stellar performance, contributing 34 points and sinking eight 3-pointers to lead Brown to an 88-79 victory over Pennsylvania on Friday evening.
Lilly showcased an impressive shooting display, making 9 of 16 attempts from the floor, including a remarkable 8 of 9 from beyond the arc. He also excelled from the free-throw line, converting 8 out of 9 attempts, helping the Bears improve their record to 10-8 overall and 2-3 in the Ivy League.
AJ Lesburt Jr. supported the team’s offensive efforts by scoring 19 points, shooting 6 for 9 from the field with a solid 5 of 7 performance from the three-point range, alongside 2 of 3 from the line. Additionally, Aaron Cooley contributed 10 points, completing 4 of 11 shots, including 1 of 4 from distance and adding 1 of 3 from the free-throw line.
On the other side, Ethan Roberts led the Quakers with a commendable 29 points, coupled with three steals. He was notably supported by George Smith, who tallied 18 points, and Sam Brown, who added another 13 points to the Quakers’ efforts.
Looking ahead, both teams are set to compete again on Saturday, with Brown traveling to Princeton for their next matchup while Pennsylvania prepares to host Yale.
