LOS ANGELES — A star-studded lineup of musicians is set to unite on Thursday for the FireAid benefit concert aimed at generating funds for wildfire relief efforts in the Los Angeles area.
FireAid will be hosted in two venues located in Inglewood, California: the Kia Forum, which will kick off at 6 p.m. Pacific time, and the Intuit Dome, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
For those lucky enough to secure tickets before they sold out, or those planning to stream the event, here’s a comprehensive guide to what you need to know ahead of the concert.
**Watching the Event**
The FireAid concert will be streamed live across various platforms, including Apple Music, Apple TV+, Max, iHeartRadio, KTLA+, Netflix/Tudum, Paramount+, Prime Video, the Amazon Music Channel on Twitch, SiriusXM, Spotify, SoundCloud, Veeps, and YouTube. Some AMC Theatres across the U.S. will also showcase the event on their screens.
**Performers**
Those set to take the stage at the Intuit Dome include Billie Eilish, Gracie Abrams, Jelly Roll, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Lil Baby, Olivia Rodrigo, Peso Pluma, Rod Stewart, Stevie Wonder, Sting, Tate McRae, and Earth, Wind & Fire.
Meanwhile, the Kia Forum will feature performances from Alanis Morissette, Anderson .Paak, Dawes, Graham Nash, Green Day, John Fogerty, Joni Mitchell, No Doubt, Pink, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stephen Stills, Stevie Nicks, The Black Crowes, and John Mayer.
Originally, Mayer was scheduled to perform alongside Dave Matthews for a special live collaboration; however, the Dave Matthews Band recently announced on social media that Matthews will not take part due to a family health crisis.
**Special Guests and Speakers**
The members of Dawes have felt the impact of the Eaton fire firsthand. Mandy Moore, an actress and singer married to band member Taylor Goldsmith, shared on her social platforms that parts of their home and Goldsmith’s recording studio were lost to the flames. Additionally, Griffin Goldsmith, Taylor’s brother and a fellow band member, along with his pregnant spouse, also experienced the devastating loss of their home in the fire.
The event will not only feature musical performances but will also include speakers, both celebrities and community members, some of whom have lost their homes, as well as first responders and firefighters who have played crucial roles in wildfire efforts.
**How to Donate**
For those unable to attend or view the concert, there remains an opportunity to support the cause through donations made at FireAidLA.org. This link is currently accessible and will also be displayed on-screen throughout the live broadcast.
All proceeds will directly assist those impacted by the wildfires. A 501(c)(3) organization has been established specifically for FireAid, which will distribute the funds with guidance from a small committee formed in collaboration with the Annenberg Foundation.
