LARAMIE, Wyo. — In an impressive showing on Saturday, Nique Clifford led Colorado State to a resounding 79-63 victory against Wyoming, contributing significantly with 23 points and 11 rebounds.
Along with his scoring, Clifford also recorded five assists, demonstrating his all-around abilities as a key player for the Rams, who improved their record to 11-7, and 5-2 in the Mountain West Conference.
Jaylen Crocker-Johnson supported the team with a solid performance, scoring 11 points and pulling down seven rebounds, while Jalen Lake added another 10 points to the scoreboard.
On the other side, Obi Agbim was a standout performer for the Cowboys, finishing the game with 26 points and six rebounds, while Dontaie Allen contributed 14 points to the team’s efforts. Wyoming now holds a record of 9-9, with a 2-5 standing in conference play.
The Rams took control of the game early, seizing the lead with 16:08 remaining in the first half and maintaining it throughout the contest. By halftime, Colorado State was ahead 36-28, with Crocker-Johnson scoring nine of those points.
