In a competitive matchup on Saturday, VMI triumphed over The Citadel with a score of 75-70, propelled by an impressive performance from Rickey Bradley, Jr., who racked up 29 points.
This victory improved VMI’s overall record to 8-11 and their Southern Conference standings to 2-4. Alongside Bradley, Augustinas Kiudulas contributed significantly with 13 points and secured five rebounds, while TJ Johnson added 11 points to the scoreboard.

On the other side, The Citadel’s Colby McAllister showcased his skills, finishing the game with 18 points, seven rebounds, and two steals in a losing effort. His fellow teammate Brody Fox also made a notable impact, scoring 18 points and providing six assists. Christian Moore rounded out the scoring for the Bulldogs with 16 points and four assists, marking a challenging stretch for the team as this loss extended their losing streak to nine games.

Bradley was particularly crucial for VMI in the second half, scoring 12 of his points during this period, which helped seal the team’s victory.
