— Braden Sparks led the Fairfield Stags to a close victory against the Niagara Purple Eagles on Thursday night, scoring 17 points in the team’s 70-66 win.
Sparks showcased his shooting skills by going 6 of 13 from the floor, including 3 out of 8 from three-point range.
Deon Perry contributed significantly with 15 points, five rebounds, and four steals.
Additionally, Prophet Johnson added 12 points while also grabbing nine rebounds, despite shooting 4 for 13 overall, including making 2 out of 6 from long range.

On the opposing side, the Purple Eagles saw three players finish with 12 points each: Jaeden Marshall, Zion Russell, and Justin Page.
This match marked an intense battle for both teams, with Fairfield improving its record to 7-10 on the season and 3-3 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
