In a thrilling Ivy League matchup on Saturday, Cornell secured a 94-83 victory over Columbia, driven by an impressive performance from Jacob Beccles, who scored 23 points.
Beccles showcased his shooting prowess, finishing the game with an impressive 8 of 9 shooting from the field, including a perfect 5 for 5 from beyond the arc.
Alongside him, Cooper Noard added 20 points, converting 7 of 9 attempts and impressively hitting 6 of 8 from three-point territory.
Additionally, AK Okereke contributed to the team’s success with 12 points, going 5 of 6 shooting overall.

On the opposing side, Kenny Noland led the Columbia Lions with 19 points and provided six assists to help his team compete.
The Lions also benefited from Avery Brown’s strong performance, as he chipped in 18 points along with four assists.
Geronimo Rubio De La Rosa made an impact as well, recording 15 points, dishing out six assists, and gathering two steals throughout the contest.

Looking ahead, both teams are set to compete again next Saturday. Cornell will travel to take on Pennsylvania, while Columbia gears up to face Yale at home.
