CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. — Shelton Williams-Dryden delivered an impressive performance, scoring 27 points to lead the West Georgia Wolves to a narrow 72-68 victory over Austin Peay on Thursday night.

Williams-Dryden also contributed significantly on the boards, grabbing six rebounds as the Wolves improved to a record of 3-13 overall and 1-2 in the Atlantic Sun Conference. Rickey Ballard supported the effort with 13 points, shooting 4 for 8 from the field and 3 for 6 from behind the arc, while also pulling down 10 rebounds.

On the other side of the court, the Governors, now with a record of 6-10 and also 1-2 in the conference, were spearheaded by Anton Brookshire. He had a standout game, scoring 28 points and adding six rebounds along with two steals. Additionally, LJ Thomas contributed 14 points to the team’s efforts.
