Conway, Arkansas – In an exhilarating double overtime clash on Thursday evening, George Kimble III’s remarkable performance propelled Eastern Kentucky to a thrilling 89-83 victory over Central Arkansas.

Kimble’s contributions were noteworthy, as he scored 33 points, secured nine rebounds, dished out five assists, and made four steals, showcasing his all-around ability for the Colonels, who now sit at 7-7 overall and have begun their Atlantic Sun Conference journey with a record of 1-0. Devontae Blanton also made a significant impact, tallying 16 points, although his shooting was challenged as he made only 7 of his 22 attempts from the field, including 1 of 4 from the three-point range.
