EDINBURG, Texas — K.T. Raimey showcased an impressive performance by scoring 20 points, guiding the UT Rio Grande Valley Vaqueros to a commanding 88-44 win over Dallas Christian on Monday evening.
Raimey not only demonstrated his scoring ability but also contributed significantly on the boards with 10 rebounds, helping the Vaqueros improve their season record to 9-4 and 1-1 in the Southland Conference.
Dekedran Thorn also had a notable game, netting 17 points with an overall shooting performance of 5 for 14, including 4 for 12 from beyond the arc, alongside making 3 out of 4 free throw attempts. Kwo Agwa rounded out the scoring for the team, contributing 10 points while shooting 5 of 9 from the field.
On the other side, Ny’gel Boozer emerged as the top scorer for the Dallas Christian Crusaders, finishing the night with 22 points. This matchup showcased the strong offensive capabilities of the Vaqueros, setting a positive tone for their ongoing season.
