VESTAVIA HILLS, Ala. — Hudson Meek, a youthful actor, tragically passed away after suffering injuries from falling out of a moving vehicle in Alabama. Authorities confirmed the incident occurred on December 19 in Vestavia Hills, a suburb near Birmingham. Meek, who was only 16 years old, succumbed to his injuries two days later, as reported by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.

The local police department in Vestavia Hills is currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Meek’s untimely demise. However, as of now, they have not released any statements to the public regarding the details of the incident.

Meek’s acting career began with his debut in the 2014 film “The Santa Con.” He also featured in several television series, including a role in the reboot of “MacGyver.” One of his more notable performances was in the acclaimed 2017 movie “Baby Driver,” where he portrayed a younger incarnation of Ansel Elgort’s character.

A heartfelt tribute shared on his Instagram highlighted, “His 16 years on this earth were far too short, but he accomplished so much and significantly impacted everyone he met.” This sentiment reflects the profound effect he had on those around him.

In addition to his acting pursuits, Meek was an active member of the Vestavia Hills High School football team. He cherished Bible study sessions with his fellow teammates and had taken the opportunity to travel across all 50 states. His interests included snow skiing, curating music playlists for friends, and participating in the school choir, as noted in his obituary.

The family of Hudson Meek is organizing a funeral and memorial service set for Saturday. This gathering will be made accessible for viewing through a livestream on Meek’s Instagram account, allowing friends and admirers to pay their respects virtually.
