In a commanding performance on Monday, Wagner University triumphed over Penn State-Scranton with a staggering score of 120-30. Zaire Williams led the charge for the Seahawks, netting an impressive 24 points while sinking five shots from beyond the arc.
Williams also contributed significantly in other areas, posting five rebounds, dishing out seven assists, and making four steals. His teammate, Zavier Fitch, supported the effort with 21 points, along with six rebounds, four assists, and five steals.
Di’Andre Howell-South made a notable impact as well, scoring 20 points by successfully converting 7 of 10 attempts from the field, including two of four from three-point territory, and hitting four out of five free throws.
On the other side, Jaiden Wiggins was one of the few bright spots for Penn State-Scranton, contributing 16 points in a tough matchup where his team struggled to maintain possession, recording a total of 29 turnovers throughout the game.
