BOISE, Idaho — In an impressive performance, Tyson Degenhart scored 19 points, contributing significantly to Boise State’s 77-59 win against Air Force on Saturday evening.
Degenhart also grabbed six rebounds for the Broncos, who improved their record to 9-3 overall and 1-0 in the Mountain West Conference. O’Mar Stanley was another key player for Boise State, netting 15 points while shooting 6 of 11 from the floor and converting 3 of 4 free throws; he also recorded six rebounds. Additionally, Alvaro Cardenas Torre chipped in with 15 points, completing 6 of 13 attempts and hitting 1 of 5 from three-point distance.

On the other side, Luke Kearney led the Falcons with a team-high of 16 points, while teammate Kyle Marshall contributed 13 points alongside two steals. Air Force’s record now stands at 3-9 and 0-1 in conference play.

The game shifted in favor of Boise State just before halftime, as they took a narrow lead with only five seconds remaining in the first half, finishing at 32-31. Degenhart’s first-half contribution of 10 points laid the groundwork for the Broncos’ success. Coming out strong in the second period, Boise State jumped to a 47-33 lead, propelled by a dominant 15-2 scoring run. Stanley took charge in the second half, leading the team with 13 points as Boise State secured the victory.
