CARBONDALE, Ill. — In an exciting matchup, High Point triumphed over Southern Illinois with a score of 94-81, fueled by a stellar performance from D’Maurian Williams, who scored 24 points on Saturday.
Williams also contributed five rebounds to help secure the victory for the Panthers, who now hold a record of 12 wins and 2 losses this season.
Kezza Giffa was another key player for High Point, finishing with 19 points after making 5 of 12 attempts from the field, including 2 of 6 from beyond the arc, along with a strong showing at the free-throw line, converting 7 of 11 attempts.
