GRAND FORKS, N.D. — The Fightin’ Hawks had an impressive night as they dominated South Dakota Mines with a score of 80-48 on Friday night, highlighted by Treysen Eaglestaff’s standout performance, scoring 19 points.
Eaglestaff showcased his skills on the court, hitting 9 of 15 shots, although he struggled from long-range, missing all four attempts beyond the three-point line. Mier Panoam contributed significantly to the team’s success, making 4 of 5 attempts and adding 10 points to the score. Zach Kraft also had a notable game, going 3 for 7 overall and successfully sinking three of his six attempts from three-point territory to finish with nine points.
On the opposing side, South Dakota Mines had Luke Stoddard leading their efforts, registering eight points along with two blocked shots. Both Gavin Soukup and Guillem Garcia contributed equally, each scoring eight points for the Hardrockers.
Looking ahead, the Fightin’ Hawks are set to host Waldorf in their upcoming match scheduled for December 29.
