SANTA CLARA, Calif. — In an impressive display of offensive prowess, Adama-Alpha Bal notched 27 points to lead Santa Clara to a 94-74 victory over Kennesaw State on Wednesday evening.
Bal’s performance included hitting 8 of his 15 shots from the field, including 6 out of 11 attempts from beyond the arc, and he converted all five of his free-throw opportunities. The Broncos, now with a 7-5 record, also saw contributions from Tyeree Bryan, who recorded 14 points. Bryan was efficient, making 4 of 7 field goals, including 2 of 5 from three-point range, while also going a perfect 4 for 4 from the charity stripe. Elijah Mahi matched his point total with 14, successfully shooting 4 of 6 from the field and 5 of 7 from the free-throw line.
On the other side, Kennesaw State (7-4) was led by Adrian Wooley, who scored 25 points. Braedan Lue supported the effort with 18 points, while Simeon Cottle contributed 14 points along with seven assists.
Looking ahead, both teams will be back in action this Saturday. Santa Clara will face South Dakota at home, while Kennesaw State will travel to take on San Jose State.
