LOS ANGELES — In an impressive display of skill, Dylan Andrews tallied 21 points, and Tyler Bilodeau contributed 18 as No. 18 UCLA secured a commanding 111-75 victory over Prairie View A&M on Tuesday night.

Eric Dailey also shone for the Bruins (10-1), adding 14 points, while Kobe Johnson scored 12 and Trent Perry chipped in 11. The team showcased their strengths by shooting 59% from the field and nailing 10 out of 21 attempts from three-point range. Aday Mara was notable on the boards, grabbing 10 rebounds.

On the other side, the Panthers (1-10) saw Jordan Tillmon lead their scoring with 24 points, and Nick Anderson supported with 19 points. Marcel Bryant added 12 points to the team’s efforts. Prairie View managed to shoot 47% overall and matched UCLA with 10 three-pointers.

This game marked UCLA’s first achievement of 100 points since their last performance against Pepperdine in November 2022. They significantly overpowered the Panthers, who have now suffered 10 consecutive defeats, all on the road. Notably, while Prairie View scored 75 points, they faced a Bruins defense that had been yielding only 55.0 points per game, the best in the nation.

A pivotal moment in the game came with an 18-3 run by the Bruins, during which six players contributed to extending the lead to 31 points with only 15 minutes left in the game.

In terms of statistics, UCLA’s dominance was evident, particularly in terms of capitalizing on turnovers. They outscored Prairie View 31-6 from turnovers, forcing a total of 17—just below their average of 18.6 forced turnovers per game, ranking them second in the nation.

Looking ahead, UCLA will face North Carolina at Madison Square Garden in New York on Saturday as part of the CBS Sports Classic. They will close their nonconference schedule on December 28 against Gonzaga in Inglewood, California, at the Intuit Dome. Meanwhile, Prairie View still has two games left on their extensive 12-game road trip. They will face Rice on Sunday and then Oklahoma before returning home on January 4.
