Solomon scores 24, guiding UNC Asheville to a 95-81 victory against North Florida

ASHEVILLE, N.C. — In a thrilling matchup on Tuesday night, Toyaz Solomon delivered an outstanding performance with 24 points as UNC Asheville triumphed over North Florida with a score of 95-81.

Solomon contributed significantly to the Bulldogs, pulling down nine rebounds and recording three steals, helping the team improve their record to 7-4. Jordan Marsh also played a pivotal role, scoring 19 points while achieving an impressive shooting performance of 6 for 11 from the field, including 3 for 5 from beyond the arc. Marsh also made all four of his free-throw attempts, in addition to adding eight rebounds and seven assists to his tally.

Greg Gantt was another key player for Asheville, finishing the game with 13 points. He shot 5 of 6 from the floor and managed to hit 3 of 4 free-throws while also contributing ten rebounds, eight assists, and three steals.

On the opposing side, Nate Lliteras led the scoring for the Ospreys with 16 points, along with two steals. North Florida’s Jasai Miles contributed 15 points and seven rebounds, while Oscar Berry chipped in with 12 points to round out the scoring efforts for the team.
