SAINT CHARLES, Mo. — In an impressive performance on Saturday night, Jaylon McDaniel recorded 22 points, leading Lindenwood to an 81-63 victory over IU Indianapolis.
McDaniel was highly efficient, making 9 out of 12 attempts from the field and converting 4 of 6 from the charity stripe for the Lions, who now stand at 5-6 for the season. Markeith Browning II contributed significantly as well, scoring 18 points with a shooting line of 8 of 19, including one successful three-pointer out of three attempts. Additionally, Browning II showcased his versatility with seven rebounds, five assists, and three steals.
Reggie Bass added to the Lions’ strong performance, scoring 14 points while shooting 3 of 6 from the field, which included 2 of 5 from beyond the arc, and an impressive 6 of 7 from the free-throw line. He also contributed with seven rebounds and six assists, further solidifying the team’s dominance.
On the other hand, Paul Zilinskas led the Jaguars with 18 points in their losing effort, while Jarvis Walker chipped in with 13 points and two steals. Alec Millender also made his mark by scoring 11 points and providing five assists as IU Indianapolis fell to 5-8 this season.
Looking ahead, Lindenwood is scheduled to play against Tennessee Tech at home on Thursday, while IU Indianapolis will be on the road, facing Florida International on Saturday.
