— In an exciting matchup on Saturday, Southern University triumphed over Tulsa with a close score of 70-66, thanks in large part to an impressive performance by Michael Jacobs, who came off the bench to contribute 19 points.

Jacobs demonstrated his shooting ability by making 7 of his 15 attempts from the field and impressively sinking all 5 of his free throws for the Jaguars, who now hold a record of 4-4. Cam Amboree also made notable contributions, scoring 10 points while hitting 3 of 5 shots, including 2 of 3 from beyond the arc, along with securing five rebounds. Derrick Tezeno rounded out the balanced offense for Southern by finishing with 10 points on an efficient 4 of 6 shooting from the floor.
