NEW YORK — Over a million pairs of oven gloves are being recalled due to safety concerns related to burn injuries reported by users.
QVC, a leading video and online shopping retailer, is recalling roughly 1.1 million units of its “Temp-tations Oven Gloves.” The recall stems from an alarming number of reports indicating that these gloves do not offer adequate heat protection. A notice released by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission on Thursday revealed that QVC has received 162 complaints about the gloves, including 92 cases of minor burns.

The recalled oven gloves were available for purchase on the QVC website and through the company’s television and digital platforms from August 2018 until August 2024, priced between $4 and $13 per pair.

The recall notice also lists the model numbers for affected gloves: K51459, K76398, K47973, K48879, K85322, K96004, K92603, K308719, K309220, K309388, and K309516.
