MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Bucks welcomed back Giannis Antetokounmpo for their matchup against the Washington Wizards on Saturday night, following his absence in one game due to knee swelling.
Antetokounmpo previously missed the Bucks’ narrow 106-103 win over the Miami Heat on Tuesday in the NBA Cup.
Prior to the game, he had been marked as probable due to tendinopathy affecting his right patellar tendon.
“He’s good,” confirmed Bucks coach Doc Rivers before the game commenced.
Entering this matchup, Antetokounmpo led the league in scoring with an impressive average of 32.4 points per game. Additionally, he ranked fifth in rebounding, recording 11.9 boards per game, and was 20th in assists with an average of 6.4.
