Kansas City, Mo. — Pop icon Taylor Swift celebrated Black Friday by cheering on her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, as he and the Kansas City Chiefs faced off against the Las Vegas Raiders in a chilly afternoon game at Arrowhead Stadium. Swift enjoyed a break from her Eras Tour, which will conclude with three performances in Vancouver starting December 6.
As she made her entrance to the stadium, Swift donned a stylish black outfit complemented by a vibrant red jacket, attracting a flurry of camera flashes reminiscent of a glamorous red-carpet event. Her appearances at Chiefs games have sparked considerable media attention, particularly after she began dating Kelce who had initially invited her to join him at a game.
Earlier that day, Target stores nationwide launched an exclusive book focused on the Eras Tour, alongside a special edition of “The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology,” which was exclusively available in stores for Black Friday only. This holiday season also features two new Christmas movies that have ties to Swift.
“Christmas in the Spotlight,” which debuted on Lifetime on November 23, stars Jessica Lord as a pop artist and Laith Wallschleger as a football player who find romance. The screenplay was penned by Eirene Tran Donohue, who was inspired by Swift and Kelce’s relationship as she crafted a loose narrative based on her favorite musician.
On Saturday, Hallmark plans to air “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story,” which tells the tale of a new team employee (Tyler Hynes) who crosses paths with a woman (Hunter King) whose family has long been devoted to the Chiefs. This story was created by Sherman Wolfe, a fan of the 49ers who received the request to write it after the Chiefs triumphed over San Francisco in the Super Bowl.
“Holiday Touchdown” features several cameos from Chiefs players and even includes a brief appearance by Kelce’s mother, Donna Kelce. To commemorate its upcoming airing, the Chiefs organization distributed small pennants and pins to fans at the game, further emphasizing the excitement surrounding the film’s release.
