STOCKTON, Calif. — In an impressive display of skill, Elijah Fisher led the Pacific Tigers to an 83-71 triumph over UAPB on Wednesday evening, totaling 28 points.
In addition to his scoring, Fisher contributed significantly with nine rebounds, helping to secure the victory for Pacific, which improved its record to 4-4.
Lamar Washington also had a noteworthy performance, netting 19 points while shooting 8 of 17 from the floor, despite struggling from beyond the arc with only 1 out of 6 success on three-point attempts.
He also added two successful free throw shots out of four attempts and facilitated strong ball movement with seven assists, along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Elias Ralph made an impact off the bench, contributing 18 points on an efficient shooting night, hitting 5 of his 9 field goal attempts, and going a perfect 8 for 8 from the free-throw line.
On the other side, the Golden Lions of UAPB, now at 1-7, were led by Dante Sawyer, who scored 16 points and secured two steals.
Klemen Vuga matched that scoring effort with 16 points as well, adding four assists to his performance.
Additionally, Raphael Dumont contributed 14 points and grabbed six rebounds, but the loss marked the sixth straight defeat for the Golden Lions.
Notably, Washington was instrumental in the second half, where he tallied 15 of his overall points, helping to maintain Pacific’s lead and ultimately seal their victory.
