– On Wednesday night, Corey Camper Jr. made a significant contribution by scoring 19 points as the UTEP Miners triumphed over UNC Greensboro with a final score of 64-58.
Camper demonstrated solid shooting skills, going 7 for 15 overall, including 1 for 4 from beyond the three-point line, and he successfully converted 4 of his 5 free-throw attempts.
Other notable performances for UTEP included Devon Barnes, who scored 10 points by making 3 of 5 shots, with 2 of those being successful three-point attempts.
Ahamad Bynum supported the team with 8 points, hitting 2 of 7 from the field and managing to connect on 2 out of 4 free throws.
For the Spartans, Donovan Atwell was the standout player, leading his team with 20 points.
Kenyon Giles contributed another 10 points to the scoreline, while Ronald Polite added 10 points along with 4 assists, rounding off a solid but ultimately insufficient team effort for UNC Greensboro.
The victory improved UTEP’s record to 5-2, marking a positive step as they continue their season.
