Kennard Davis contributed 15 points to Southern Illinois’s convincing win over Florida Tech with a final score of 81-54 on Wednesday.
Davis’s performance included shooting 6 out of 13 from the field, with a less successful 1 out of 5 from three-point range for the Salukis, who now hold a record of 3-5.
Jarrett Hensley also made a significant impact on the game, scoring 14 points on an efficient 6 of 9 shooting, which included two successful three-point shots out of four attempts.
He complemented his scoring efforts by grabbing six rebounds.
Sheridan Sharp rounded out the scoring for Southern Illinois with 12 points, achieving an impressive 5 of 6 shooting from the field.
On the opposing side, Florida Tech’s scoring was led by Donovan Brown, who netted 17 points.
Elhadji Thiam was also a notable contributor for the Panthers, posting 14 points alongside six rebounds and two steals.
Max Polk mirrored Thiam’s effort by adding another 14 points to the scoreboard.
