HONOLULU – Kody Williams led the Rainbow Warriors with an impressive performance, scoring 24 points as Hawaii edged out Hawaii Pacific with a final score of 67-63 on Tuesday evening.
Williams demonstrated his shooting prowess, hitting 7 of 13 attempts from the floor and a remarkable 7 of 8 from three-point range, along with converting 3 of 4 at the free-throw line, helping Hawaii improve their record to 5-1 for the season. Supporting Williams were Gytis Nemeiksa, who contributed 13 points along with eight rebounds, and Ryan Rapp, who added 12 points with a shooting tally of 4 for 7 – including 4 three-pointers.
On the other side, the Sharks were led by Sherman Brashear, who scored 22 points while pulling down seven rebounds. Hawaii Pacific saw contributions from Jonas Visser, who netted 14 points and eight boards, as well as Joshua West, who chipped in nine points and gathered eight rebounds.
