GREELEY, Colo. — Isaiah Hawthorne had an outstanding performance, contributing 27 points as the Northern Colorado Bears secured a commanding victory over the Northern New Mexico Eagles with a score of 92-50 on Tuesday night.
Hawthorne demonstrated great shooting accuracy, making 8 of 13 attempts from the field, which included 4 of 7 from beyond the arc. Additionally, he was impressive at the free-throw line, hitting 7 out of 8 shots. For Northern Colorado, which improved to a 6-2 record, Brock Wisne supported the team with 11 points and grabbed five rebounds. Meanwhile, Langston Reynolds played well, scoring 10 points on 3 of 4 shooting from the field and converting 4 of 6 from the charity stripe.
On the other side, Gabriel Gutierrez stood out for the Eagles, leading his team with 12 points. Jesus Mendoza chipped in with eight points, while Leo Gerardo contributed six points to the effort.
