SALT LAKE CITY — In a dominant performance on Tuesday night, Gabe Madsen shone with 27 points, leading Utah to a significant 94-48 victory against Mississippi Valley State.

Madsen was exceptionally efficient, hitting 10 of 13 shots from the floor, including a remarkable 7 for 10 from beyond the arc. The Utes, now holding a record of 5-1, also saw contributions from Miro Little, who scored 16 points while recording six rebounds and five assists. Lawson Lovering added 12 points, connecting on 5 of 7 attempts from the field and 2 of 3 from the free-throw line, along with seven rebounds to bolster the team’s efforts.

For the Delta Devils, who dropped to 1-6, Arthur Tate was the standout scorer with 23 points. Walter Hamilton contributed 12 points, while Donovan Sanders added four points along with three steals, helping to keep pressure on Utah throughout the game.
