PHILADELPHIA — On Tuesday night, Erik Reynolds II played a pivotal role in Saint Joseph’s (PA) impressive victory over Coppin State, leading the way with 18 points in a commanding 83-54 win.

In addition to his scoring, Reynolds demonstrated versatility on both ends of the court, contributing four steals and four blocks for the Hawks, who improved their record to 5-2. Dasear Haskins was another key contributor, shooting 6 for 8 from the field, including 3 for 5 from beyond the arc, to secure 15 points. Xzayvier Brown also added to the team’s success with 10 points, making 4 of 9 attempts from the field, with 2 of those coming from three-point range.

For Coppin State, who dropped to 0-8 on the season, Peter Oduro emerged as a standout player, finishing the game with a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds.
