Sean “Diddy” Combs will most likely spend Thanksgiving at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center as he awaits trial on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
The embattled music mogul, who has pleaded not guilty, remains in custody after being denied bail by two federal judges.
Thanksgiving Meal Details
According to the detention center’s Thanksgiving Day menu obtained by PEOPLE, Combs’ holiday meals will include a mix of traditional and simple prison fare:
- Breakfast (6 a.m.): Fruit, cereal, and breakfast pastries.
- Lunch (11 a.m.): Turkey roast or hot & sour tofu, accompanied by mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, cranberry sauce, turkey gravy, dinner rolls, and assorted holiday pies.
- Dinner (served after 4 p.m. headcount): Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, potato chips, whole wheat bread, and fruit.
Ongoing Legal Battle
Combs’ legal team filed a motion for bail on November 8, claiming the prosecution’s case lacks substance. The motion alleges that some accusations stem from what they describe as a “decade-long consensual relationship.”
The latest bail hearing occurred on Friday, November 22, but as of midday Monday, November 25, the judge had not yet issued a decision. Defense attorneys proposed that, if granted bail, Combs would reside in a three-bedroom apartment on Manhattan’s Upper East Side under strict surveillance.
What’s Next?
Combs’ trial is set to begin in May 2025. Until then, he remains at the Metropolitan Detention Center, where Thanksgiving will offer only a brief respite from his ongoing legal battles.
