MISSOULA, Mont. — In an exciting matchup at the Stew Morrill Classic on Sunday night, the University of Montana triumphed over the University of Denver with a score of 83-73. Joe Pridgen was a standout performer for the Grizzlies, netting 23 points and securing seven rebounds, which significantly contributed to the team’s victory.

Montana’s offense saw strong support from Money Williams, who scored 17 points while shooting 5 of 9 from the floor, including a 1 for 4 performance from beyond the arc. Additionally, he was efficient at the free-throw line, making 6 of 7 attempts. Austin Patterson added fuel to the fire with a commendable performance of 16 points, shooting 6 of 8 overall and converting 3 of 5 tries from 3-point distance.
