BALTIMORE – Nendah Tarke delivered an impressive performance with 24 points, guiding Towson to a 64-60 victory over Morgan State on Sunday evening.
Tarke also contributed seven rebounds to the Tigers’ effort, pushing their record to 4-2 for the season. Teammate Tomiwa Sulaiman added 10 points along with six rebounds, while Christian May rounded out the scoring with nine points.
On the side of the Bears, who now hold a record of 3-5, Wynston Tabbs led the team with 19 points. Kameron Hobbs supported with 13 points, and Ahmarie Simpkins chipped in with nine points, three steals, and two blocks.
The Tigers entered halftime with a 35-26 advantage over Morgan State, largely thanks to Tarke’s 14 points in the first half. In the second half, Towson expanded their lead with a decisive 7-0 run, establishing an 11-point lead at 58-47 with just 5:51 remaining before securing the victory.
