Johnson nets 21 points, leading Portland State to a 79-74 victory over Wofford in the Cream City Challenge

MILWAUKEE — In a close matchup during the Cream City Challenge held in Milwaukee, Portland State edged out Wofford with a final score of 79-74 on Sunday.

Isaiah Johnson was the standout player for the Vikings, contributing 21 points and grabbing nine rebounds throughout the game.
Jaylin Henderson also made a significant impact, scoring 18 points with an efficient shooting performance, going 6 for 12 overall and sinking 4 out of 10 attempts from three-point range.
Qiant Myers rounded out the strong performance for Portland State, finishing with 10 points on 5 of 8 shooting, while also contributing six rebounds and six assists.

On the other side, Dillon Bailey led the effort for the Terriers with 20 points.
Wofford’s Corey Tripp supported the team with 17 points, five assists, and two steals, while Kyler Filewich added another 10 points along with six rebounds.

As for their upcoming games, Portland State is set to face Utah Tech at home next Saturday, and Wofford will host North Alabama on Sunday.
