Emerging rugby talent Joseph Sua’ali’i suffers injury, leaves match against Scotland.

EDINBURGH, Scotland — Rising Australian rugby star Joseph Sua’ali’i was sidelined due to an injury during the test match against Scotland on Sunday, cutting his time on the pitch short after just 30 minutes.

Sua’ali’i sustained an injury to his right arm while attempting to tackle Sione Tuipulotu, the Scottish captain, as he attempted to break through Australia’s defense.

After receiving medical assistance on the field, the 21-year-old Sua’ali’i made the difficult decision to leave the game at Murrayfield Stadium.

This match marked his second cap for the Wallabies, following an impressive debut just two weeks prior, where he contributed to a thrilling 42-37 victory over England.

At the time of his departure, Scotland was holding a narrow lead with a score of 7-3.
