LEWISBURG, Pa. — Tariq Ingraham had an impressive performance, scoring 14 points, as Rider secured a narrow victory against Bucknell with a final score of 57-53 on Saturday night.
Ingraham not only excelled in scoring but also contributed significantly on the boards, recording nine rebounds for the Broncs, who improved their record to 4-2. TJ Weeks Jr. supported the team’s efforts by contributing 12 points and grabbing six rebounds, while Jay Alvarez added nine points to the tally.
On the other side, the Bison, with a record of 4-3, were led by Josh Bascoe, who scored 13 points. Ian Motta also played a role in the game, finishing with nine points, while Brandon McCreesh rounded out the scoring with eight points and six rebounds.
Rider managed to enter halftime with a slight edge, leading Bucknell 30-24, thanks in part to Ingraham’s strong first half performance, where he put up eight points.
