STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Zaire Williams delivered an impressive performance by scoring 19 points, leading Wagner to a convincing victory over Springfield (Mass.) with a score of 81-46 on Saturday night.
Williams also showcased his defensive skills, contributing five steals for the Seahawks, who now hold a record of 3-3. Ja’Kair Sanchez supported the team with 12 points, achieving 4 out of 10 shooting from the field, including 2 for 5 from three-point territory, as well as converting 2 of 3 attempts from the free-throw line. Meanwhile, Tyje Kelton made his mark with 11 points, shooting an impressive 4 for 5 overall, including 3 for 4 from long range.
On the other side, the highest scorer for the Pride was Xoren Livingston, who totaled 13 points. RJ Hutt contributed as well with 11 points and added three blocks to their efforts.
The Seahawks displayed a strong team effort, dominating the game and demonstrating improved play as they continue to refine their strategy for the season.
