POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. — In a closely contested match on Saturday, the Marist Red Foxes triumphed over the New Hampshire Wildcats with a final score of 54-49.
Elijah Lewis and Josh Pascarelli were pivotal for Marist, both contributing 14 points to the team’s effort.
Lewis also secured six rebounds, showcasing his defensive skills, while Pascarelli had an efficient shooting performance, making five out of eleven attempts, including two out of four from beyond the arc.
Jaden Daughtry chipped in with nine points, displaying excellent accuracy as he finished the game shooting 80% from the field.
On the opposing side, New Hampshire, who fell to a record of 2-7, saw their scoring led by Davide Poser, who managed to net 11 points.
Khalil Badru also played a significant role, contributing 10 points alongside six rebounds, but it wasn’t enough to secure a win against the determined Marist squad.
