BOONE, N.C. — In an exciting showdown, Joey Aguilar completed 216 passing yards and secured two touchdowns, while Ahmani Marshall contributed with 108 rushing yards, leading Appalachian State to a 34-20 victory over James Madison this past Saturday.
Aguilar connected with Eli Wilson for a 4-yard touchdown and launched a stunning 64-yard touchdown pass to Makai Jackson, allowing the Mountaineers (5-5, 3-4 Sun Belt) to equalize at 17 with just 1:23 remaining in the first half.
