Highland Heights, Ky. – In a dominant display on Saturday, Northern Kentucky triumphed over Kentucky State with a score of 85-59, showcasing the exceptional performances of Randall Pettus II and Sam Vinson, who both scored 17 points each for the team.
Pettus not only made a significant contribution on the scoreboard but also excelled in other areas, recording five rebounds, six assists, and an impressive six steals throughout the game. Vinson’s shooting was a key factor in the win, as he hit 6 of 8 attempts from the field, including 3 for 4 from beyond the arc, and went 2 of 3 from the free-throw line. Additionally, he grabbed four steals, demonstrating his defensive prowess.
