CHARLOTTE, N.C. — LaMelo Ball, the standout point guard for the Hornets and a 2022 NBA All-Star, certainly knows how to make an entrance.

On Thursday evening, he made a statement as he arrived at the Spectrum Center for a matchup against the Detroit Pistons, cruising in a striking Hummer designed to resemble the beloved “Mystery Machine” from the iconic cartoon Scooby-Doo.

This vehicle, however, is significantly more luxurious than the one used by Shaggy and Velma in their adventures.

Being an avid dog lover, Ball took the opportunity to promote his latest collaboration, the Scooby-Doo x Puma MB.04 sneakers, which are set for release on November 27.

During his warm-up session, Ball showcased the vibrant, multi-colored Puma shoes and later switched to a pair of bold orange sneakers for the game itself.
