Devontae Blanton supported the effort with a solid performance, scoring 14 points while hitting seven out of twelve shots from the field. Additionally, Blanton made an impact on the boards, collecting eight rebounds. Mayar Wol also joined the scoring party, contributing 13 points with an efficient shooting performance of six for ten, which included one out of four from beyond the arc.
On the other side, Gabe Spinelli led the Cougars with 15 points as Chicago State struggled to find their rhythm, now holding a record of 0-5. Matthew Robinson chipped in with 11 points, also dishing out four assists and recording two steals in the game.
